A
popular spot this past year was Antartica. Here's what a
Colpitts' client had to say...

The weather
was excellent on our trip, too. Of course, even if it's
40 degrees, when the winds are blowing at 80 mph, it can be
extremely cold. Crossing Drake's Passage on the way down was very
quiet, but on the way back, it was tough.
The Marco Polo is a nice ship, but nowhere near as nice as the Renaissance
ships were. The service was good, but the food was uneven. I'm not
much on entertainment on ships, but the entertainment on this one
seemed rather amateurish. The check in procedure for the flight
was excellent. No waits at all. The flight was only half-full, so
that helped. There is a bit more leg room on the ATA planes than
on other airlines in steerage.
These are L1011's.
Pat & I had aisles across as we requested. But on the way back,
she switched to my side because nobody was in A or B.
We folded up
the arms, so we had more room. Still in all, it was a
terribly long flight, and business class would have been a lot
better. The food on all flights was the worst I have ever had on
an
airline. They should have told us to bring our own!
